Beth Gutcheon is the author of ten novels, all in print, with the eleventh, The Affliction,  due from Morrow/HarperCollins in March of 2018.  She is also a vested member of the Writers Guild of America, with some dozen studio screenplays to her credit, including Without a Trace, a 20th Century Fox feature film which was made from her novel Still Missing, and the narration for the feature-length documentary The Children of Theatre Street, which was nominated for an Academy Award.  Her novels have been translated into at least 15 languages, if you count the pirate Cantonese edition she found in the San Francisco Public Library.  She has also served on the board of PEN American Center.
