Royalty statements can be confusing, but it’s important that authors understand them and know what to do if an issue arises. This webinar will cover the must-know fundamentals of royalty statements for a beginner and intermediate audience. Richard Wessler will explain the standard terminology, how publishers collect and calculate royalties based on sales, and some of the ways your contract may impact your statement. We will also discuss what you can do to resolve issues when you believe your royalties are incorrect and how to work with an outside agency, accountant, or auditor to ensure accuracy.
