Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? I have written since I was a child. It’s the way I perceive and understand the world. We live by stories, both real and made-up.

What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Showing up every day to write even a single word.

What is your favorite time to write? Early morning.

What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Write for yourself.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? I’m excited by the diversity of stories I can read and write.
