Why is writing important to you and why do you think it's an important medium for the world?
Writing remains the most powerful communication tool whether the words are delivered on paper or digitally. Oral traditions cannot compete with the written word for accuracy. When words are preserved without censorship or revisionism, the history of the cultures and societies of the world can be known.

Writing provides the vehicle for the transfer of information essential to the growth and development of free societies, and for the information vital to public decision-making about the future. Censorship is the enemy of freedom and the written word.

Today I write to fight. I write to raise public consciousness and  ensure an informed voting public in advance of the consequential 2020 U.S. presidential election.

What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer's block?
I have never had writer's block.

What is your favorite time to write? I get up at 5a, have coffee, and begin writing in the quiet, dark, stillness of the morning.

What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received and would like to impart to other writers? Trust yourself - write what you know and are passionate about.

What excites you most about being a writer in today's age? The ability to communicate worldwide.
