Why is writing important to you and why do you think it’s an important medium for the world? Writing is the necessary tool for the progressive advancement of all people. Its a proven method of documentation for the historians, as well as a guide for us to look back on, so we can move forward. Writing is perhaps the most essential implement for learning, it garners knowledge, education, and power. Without the written word, be it in whatever language, fosters advancement for the overall benefit of mankind.

One good way to demonstrate the enormous power in writing, is to see someone who can’t read.

For me, writing is storytelling, and I like stories. I like reading them, and writing them. But, what I find most interesting is reading about the story tellers themselves.

What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer’s block? Taking a short break.

What is your favorite time to write? Early mornings.

What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever received and would like to impart to other writers? To be a good writer, you have to be a good reader. So, read, read, read.

What excites you most about being a writer in today’s age? That’s a difficult question to answer, I’ve never been in another age. Though if I had a choice, I would prefer to be a writer in the early 18th century, of course with the knowledge and talent of a 21st century writer.
