Why is writing important to you and why do you think it's an important medium for the world?
The world is facing extremely challenging times right now. If I can help just one reader find some positivity in their not-so-funny stuff, then I'm a happy camper.
What are your tried and tested remedies to cure writer's block?
1- Being at my computer at a set time each day to write.
2- Having an agreement with either a publisher or
a self-imposed deadline.
3- Having a passion to share my subject matter.
What is your favorite time to write?
What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received and would like to impart to other writers?
It's actually a take-off from a line in A Chorus Line which is: "A dancer dances." And a "writer writes." The only way to complete a writing project is to sit down and write, no matter what.
What excites you most about being a writer in today's age?
Helping readers see that there is more to the world than doom and gloom. Joy, happiness and awe surround us, if we choose to see it.
