Websites for Writers
The Authors Guild offer two options for website hosting.
Members may set up a website using our exclusive easy-to-use software, called the Sitebuilder, which is available to test (for members and non-members alike) at www.authorsguild.net by clicking "Build a Free Test Website." If members would like a hand getting started with our Sitebuilder software, we have a low-cost website-building service called Site Express. With this service, our staff builds the first draft of a member's website, based on a simple Word document application.
For members interested in maintaining websites not built with our software, we offer a Hosting Only service for custom sites.
In addition to web hosting, members may register domain names for their websites through the Guild. Domain names are separate services from websites, and members may register one or more through the Guild, for $18 per year per name.
